Pound Cottage lies conveniently near the path leading you into the centre of Lyme Regis where you can savour sunny days on the golden shores of Lyme Regis Beach while the little ones splash around in the azure. Immerse yourself in the past by visiting Lyme Regis Fossil Beach where you can walk across millions of years of evolutionary history; continue this historic excursion at the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum which exhibits over 9000 specimens.

The town also houses the Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, a wonderful place for a family day out thanks to its displays of local sea life and pools where guests can hand feed fish. Keen ramblers can join the South West Coast path which runs an impressive 630 miles providing guests with countless opportunities to admire seaside towns like Charmouth and Seaton.

Starter pack for the wood burning stove is only supplied during the Winter, months any further logs would need to be purchased by the guest. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate available. Parking available on the road opposite in Barns Meadow or further down the road; please do not park on the pavement as children use it; Parking can also be found on the other side of the park and most is within a 2 minute walk. Patio with furniture and hot tub and direct access to park area. Sorry, no pets, no stag or hen parties and no smoking. Shop 0.4 miles, pub 0.2 miles and beach 1.2 miles.

Located on the border between Devon and Dorset, the picturesque countryside around the village of Uplyme is an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is laced with bridleways and footpaths like the East Devon Way and offers perfect opportunities for outdoor recreation and sightseeing.
